Bookies aren't stupid, they can still see how suspect our defence is and that if Haller doesn't fire, we pretty much have fuck all else up front with Hernandez being more of an impact sub man.

Re: Betting W/O "the big 6"
It looks like business has been done for us regarding strengthening our first eleven and that being the case I think that we’ll finish next season in tenth place.

It will be the usual top six, of which Man City and Liverpool will be clearly better than the other four, and below the top six will be us, Leicester, Wolves and Everton. We will be the bottom of this group of four.

Re: Betting W/O "the big 6"
Wolves surely wont have the same luck with injuries again as last season, and they dotn have much of a squad behind their good starting 11, factor in the extra european games and trips and i thinkt hey'll be falling off slightly.

Leicester havent really improved from last year in my eyes, dont think too highly of Perez and they signed Tielemans who they had for half of last season anyway, now they've lost Maguire

Everton are the ones who i think could be due for a big season but again they'll be depening on new players coming in and hitting the ground running like we are, losing Gueye to PSG could be big for them.

I do think that these 3 teams along with us will distance ourselves from the bottom half of the league this season, just makes me wonder why we are sucvh longer odds than them

Re: Betting W/O "the big 6"
I can't see Wolves being anywhere near as good as last season.

Good little set-up and over-achieved next season but should they qualify for the Europa League there is no way they can compete in both.

What could be really embarrassing for them though is if they bring out a third kit especially for Europe and then fail to qualify - but that would be pretty stupid, wouldn't it?

Everton seem a good bet.

Big summer again for them, especially if they sign Zaha. Quietly building what could be a spurs level team.

Re: Betting W/O "the big 6"
Pretty much any pre-season predictions I've read have all had Wolves, Everton and Leicester as the best of the rest.

I'm comfortable with us being under the radar in that respect.

I noticed in the Racing Post pull out thing. That football trader from sky bet fancied us to have a good season. Obviously the bet 365 traders don't rate us. Which is why sky bet are shorter.

Re: Betting W/O "the big 6"
with just two proper strikers and the lack of options at CM, 11/1 is taking the piss

Re: Betting W/O "the big 6"
So you're saying we are 11-1 to finish 7th?

With our defence I'd want about 50-1
